El Corte Inglês is a one-stop-shopping centre for all your clothes/homeware/cinema/deli/cosmetic needs. If you find yourself there or in the surrounding area north of Parque Eduardo (or frankly, anywhere else in the city), do yourself a favour and head to the underground food floor to Leitão do Zé. It is certainly not fancy, but take a €10 note and order yourself a small feast. Our recommendation is the sande de leitão meal - a crusty roll, stuffed with roast pork, salted crisps and a drink of your choice (the day we went everyone else was pairing their sandwich with a glass of bubbles, we went for white wine). Find the El Corte Inglês supermarket - Leitão do Zé is opposite the entrance.
You can also find these guys in the Centro Commercial Colombo shopping centre if you end up out of central Lisbon at Colegio Militar metro station on Linha Azul.
