Definitely worth the small up-hill walk from Arroios Metro station is Rosé Stupa, a casual restaurant serving fresh, delicious Nepalese curry. Ask for recommendations from Anil, the polyglot proprietor.
We love the pork Mo-Mos and vegetable pakauda to start, and have thoroughly enjoyed every curry we’ve tried here. It is a snack-bar setting - very relaxed, definitely not one with a dress-code - but tables inside and out fill-up fast most nights, so book ahead if you’re in a group. You’ll eat until you’re full with a beer for around €10/head.
